Why should I join ‘GetCounted’ Consumer World of JuxtConsult?

Members who participate in polls or remain active in Live, completely update their profile and participate and complete at least 1 survey in a month will be eligible for Rs.1000/- daily cash prize + Rs. 10,000/- per survey cash prize.

How do I become a member of the GetCounted Consumer world?

To become a member of the panel simply click on join Now or Sign up Link and you will be taken to the New Member Sign-In Page of the site where you can fill the Your personal Details(Demographic details like age,gender,education etc ) and also choose unique user name and password for future access to your account (i.e. your personal webpage).
Once you complete the registration process, you can check the list of available surveys in your personal webpage by clicking on ‘My Profile’.

Why do I need to fill the personal details during the Registration process?

This will help us to understand which surveys you're interested in!
To make sure the surveys we send you match your interests, characteristics (demographics such as age, gender, etc.), geographic location (state or country where you live) and technology use (type of computer, Internet access, etc.), we rely on the information you provide during the registration process. It also helps us to create a panel of consumers that represents the entire population.
When we conduct a study, we analyze and summarize the survey results to highlight certain demographic, geographic and technology-related information. To keep our commitment to your privacy, we always look at the survey results ‘in aggregate’. We group responses of panel members together based on their member profile characteristics, and never look at results on an individual basis.

Will you share my email id with anyone?

No, we never share our panelists’ email addresses. For more detailed information about how we use the personal information you share with us, please visit our ‘Privacy Policy’. Your opinions are important to us, and we are committed to respecting your privacy.

Why is information about other members of my household asked for during the registration process?

It helps us in getting an accurate profile of the Internet population as a whole. When you respond to one of our surveys, you represent multiple Internet users. It’s very helpful for us to know what the average Internet-using household looks like. And because you share basic information about your household members (such as age, occupation, etc.), at times we may ask you if someone else in your household may be interested in participating in a specific survey.

Can I join GetCounted Consumer World and win prizes if I am not an Indian citizen?

Our survey prize drawings are open only to the Indian residents, aged 13 years or more.

Can other members of my household become panelists?

Yes, others members of your household may join our panel, but they must use their own unique user names and email addresses, such that they are different from yours. All panelists must complete their own Registration Process before they become eligible to participate in surveys.
However, you can also refer other members of your household who want to join the panel by clicking on Refer a Member link on our website.

Is there a cost to joining the GetCounted Consumer World?

No! Participation is completely voluntary and free. There is no charge or fee to join the GetCounted Consumer World. In fact, you may win cash prizes when you complete our surveys!

Can I have more than one GetCounted Consumer World account?

Membership is restricted to one account per person. More than one person of the household can register, however, each joining member must have a separate email address for us to send out invitations to join in.

Who will see my survey answers?

JuxtConsult’s GetCounted collects data for top companies that want to hear from consumers. JuxtConsult’s researchers at our offices compile all survey results. The opinions and information you share with us will never be analyzed on an individual basis. JuxtConsult and its clients always view your information using an anonymous, summarized format to protect your identity and privacy.

How do JuxtConsult and its clients use the answers I provide?

JuxtConsult compiles and analyzes the survey information that you provide. We share the summarized information with our clients to help them make informed business decisions and better understand consumer’s needs and opinions.
Some of these companies use the survey results to understand what features consumers look for in specific products, services or Web sites. Others want to understand the marketplace and economic conditions that affect consumers’ buying decisions. In some cases, companies look to JuxtConsult to find out what kinds of product packaging consumers prefer, or how satisfied consumers are with certain products. That’s why your opinions are so important – companies rely on JuxtConsult’s GetCounted panelists to help them address a wide range of business and marketing issues.

Does GetCounted provide incentives for participation in surveys?

Yes, we provide incentives for participating in our surveys. Our surveys will earn you a chance at winning prizes per survey as well as on a monthly basis. Each completed survey will earn you one entry into a survey prize draw.Check the Rewards link for more details.

How do you notify winners?

As soon as the winners are selected, we send email messages to notify them. On receiving a confirmation reply from them the prize is dispatched to the address given in their profile webpage. We also post the winner’s names along with their location in our Winners section on the website.

What are my odds of winning a prize in a survey drawing?

The chances of winning in per survey and monthly prizes are based on the number of completed responses we receive. One thing is for sure - the more surveys you complete, the more are your chances to win!
And relax! To qualify for the mega monthly prize you do not need to participate and complete more than 2 surveys a month. Isn’t that cool!

Who is eligible to join GetCounted Consumer World panel?

This panel is open to any legal resident of the India who is 13 years and older at the time of registration. If you are above 13 years but below 18 years, the prize money will go to your parent/guardian

Do you use cookies?

Cookies help us maintain information about the current survey session and save your log-in information. These cookies are only for your convenience – for example, they help you if your Internet connection is interrupted while you’re working on a survey and they remember your log-in information so you don’t have to enter it every time you visit our site.

What should I do if I have technical problems when accessing or completing a survey?

We try to make our surveys compatible with all Web browsers, but sometimes problems occur. If you have any technical troubles while accessing or completing a survey, please email us.

I use a Spamblocker as part of my email software to block unwanted e-mail. How can I make sure all of GetCounted’s notifications reach my inbox?

If your email software uses Spam filtering tools (e.g., Hotmail, Earthlink, Mailblocks, AOL, Outlook), please add the following addresses to the list of emails that you accept:
survey@getcounted.net

This will ensure you continue to receive GetCounted’s notifications and other messages.

How do I update the information I mentioned during the Registration Process when I first joined the GetCounted Panel?

Your Member Profile webpage is available to you on our site at any time. Please click on the Update Profile link to access it on your personal webpage. After you make your changes, be sure to click on the ‘Save Changes’ button at the end of the page.

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click on the ‘Forgot Password' Link just below the Member login section on any page on the website. Once you click on this link, you need to enter the email id that you had provided us during your registration. We will send you your password on this email id

How do I invite my family to join the panel?

Just log on to your account and go to the Refer A Member section, then follow the steps.

How do I remove myself from the GetCounted Consumer World panel if I wish to?

To cancel your membership, click on the Deactivate My Account link in point 13 on "How does it work" page. Your account also gets automatically deactivated if you don’t access it for 90 days in continuation.

If I am not able to complete a survey after I have started, do I have to start the survey from the beginning again?

If your survey is interrupted before clicking the submit button on the form, then you have to start the survey from the beginning.

Will I be penalized if I do not complete a survey that is shown in the Current survey list?

You won't be penalized if you do not complete a survey. You can complete as many or as few surveys as you want to. Your chances to enter the prize drawings increase with the amount of surveys you complete.

If I am away, can I get someone else to complete my surveys for me?

Unfortunately once you have personally registered with the GetCounted panel, only you can complete the surveys. However, your family and friends aged 13 years and above are welcome to join the panel separately.

I'd like to do these surveys but I have no web access - can you post them to me or can I do them over the phone?

Unfortunately there is no other way to take part in these online surveys but to log in at the GetCounted website.

Is there any extra software I will need on my computer to do the surveys?

No.

Can I donate my reward to a charity that isn't in your list?

No. Regretfully, you will have to do so on your own after receiving the prize from us.

What are Daily Polls?

Daily polls are the initiatives undertaken by JuxtConsult to give their GetCounted Consumer World members an opportunity to share their opinions and preferences through short and interesting polls.

What is the prize for participating in Daily Polls?

Every day there will be 7 polls, first 2 days polls will be weekly in nature and would be repeated each week and remaining 5 days polls will be monthly in nature and will be repeated each month. So in all members can participate in 49 polls in a week.

Members can take part in either 1 or all 49 polls as per their liking. Each member who participates in daily polls would be entered in daily draw of Rs.1000/- Cash.

Do I need to take part in all the polls to be eligible for prize?

No, you can take part in either 1 or all 49 polls, each member will get 1 entry into the prize draw on the day he took part in the polls.

Will only those who answer correctly will be eligible for a prize?

Most of the time there will be no right and wrong answers as we are seeking your opinion, but in some cases only those responses which are correct would be eligible for prize draw.

1.What is GetCounted Live?

GetCounted Live is a software that can be downloaded from the link/ website to get a basic understanding of the web surfing behaviour of the members of GetCounted consumer world. It allows us to profile your web surfing behaviour. The software consumes minimal RAM and storage and does not affect the system performance in any way.

2.How does GetCounted Live work?

GetCounted Live reviews which websites you have visited and the time spent on these sites. This data will not be associated with your personal details, so although GetCounted Live shall be monitoring the web activity, it does not know whose web activity is being monitored. GetCounted Live will not affect your Internet browsing experience. The software detects when a connection to the Internet is not active, and utilises that idle time to send small packets of data to the collection server, which is a central computer that stores information for members of the GetCounted Live panel.

3.What are the benefits of being a GetCounted Live Member?

You will be eligible for a whole lot of prizes in addition to what you are eligible currently, please refer to rewards for details.

You can refer your friends,family members and relatives to join “GetCounted” and download “GetCounted Live” software.
You can increase your chances in mega prize by referring more members to “GetCounted Live”.
You will be counted for prize only if you download and activate “GetCounted Live” and members you referred also download and activate “GetCounted Live”.

4.What are you going to do with this information?

We combine the information that comes from our panel members with data and research tools from other sources. We use this information to perform research and to prepare reports and analyses concerning Internet audience demographics, behaviour and use.

5.What are the requirements to install/run GetCounted Live software?

6.How to use GetCounted Live?

You don't need to do anything, every time you connect to the Internet you just have to activate GetCounted Live by identifying yourself in the pop-up window.
You can also deactivate the software temporarily for a short period of time by right clicking on the software icon on the system tray(right bottom of the screen).

7.How can I uninstall GetCounted Live software?

You can use the Windows control panel utility named “Add or Remove Programs”. To do this click on Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs. It will list all the software installed on your PC in an alphabetical order. Choose “GetCounted Live” and click on the “Remove” button. This will remove “GetCounted Live” from your PC.
